The fee for a tuning appointment is $145. This fee includes an initial coarse tuning (“pitch raise”), and some time for repair or regulation before the fine tuning. The appointment typically lasts 2 hours. The fees for more substantial repair work or regulation can be quoted once a piano is inspected, typically during a tuning appointment.
I work with traditional materials as much as is possible, including traditional glues and lubricants. In particular, I do not use organofluorines (PFAS, Teflon, etc.) for any purpose while servicing pianos.

Biography:
Daniel Sadowsky received a B.A. in Music from the University of Delaware in 2006, studying classical piano under Marie-Christine Delbeau. In addition to his work as a piano technician, he has worked extensively as a vocal, instrumental, and choral accompanist. He currently serves as cantor at St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church.
